Old Growth rehabilitates, builds, owns, operates unique properties in some of the hottest neighborhoods in Houston. Family owned, we specialize in restoring vintage and historic homes with charm, Mid century Modern, Craftsman, and Victorian. We carefully evaluate each acquisition for location, quality, and soundness, not just economics.
Old Growth Ventures has been rehabilitating and operating properties since 2010 with a single mission: great space. Our family has owned and leased great houses in great neighborhoods in Houston for over 40 years through 3 generations.
In 2019 we launched the Historic Preservation Fund, and partnered with new investors to acquire, restore and lease, historic properties across Houston and Texas. We restore houses to the National Park Service Historic Rehabilitation Guidelines, the gold standard of historic preservation. Spring Branch is one of the premier neighborhoods in Houston, just outside the West Loop, minutes to Galleria, Downtown, Midtown, Energy Corridor, and Memorial City, with one of the top school districts in the state, great fooderies and shopping. Many of the original 1950s ranch style houses are still intact and being remodeled. The average lot is twice the size of the inner loop, providing great value for the location. The place to be for anyone looking for more than a townhome at affordable prices with good school and great commute.

Dating to 1880, it is one of the few remaining 1800s era houses in Houston.
